As Christine O’Donnell begins to pull ahead of Mike Castle in the GOP Delaware Senate Primary, Media elites in bed with the Ruling Class ratchet up their last defense against a true conservative, one that was used against Ronald Reagan throughout his career: She can’t win a general election.  They even drag out the ghosts of conservative icons they suppose would “never vote” for her, as if they would choose Mike Castle, a progressive who authored the progressive-inspired attempt to shut free speech with the Disclose Act and who enthusiastically supports Cap and Trade

However, PPP also Tweeted that general election numbers they will release later show Democrat Chris Coons “clocking O’Donnell …” They also note that Coons is closer to Castle than he has previously been.

Despite O’Donnell’s narrow primary lead, the electability question still plagues her.

A recent column by The Washington Examiner’s Mark Hemingway illustrates her problem. Hemingway argues that National Review founder William F. Buckley, who advocated voting for the most conservative candidate that is electable, would not vote for O’Donnell.

Hemingway goes on to write, “… unfortunately, the issue of O’Donnell’s electability goes way beyond polls. She’s run an erratic and dishonest campaign.’
